{"id":61,"date":"2011-07-19T01:36:50","date_gmt":"2011-07-19T01:36:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.motebu.com\/?p=61"},"modified":"2011-07-19T01:36:50","modified_gmt":"2011-07-19T01:36:50","slug":"note-to-self","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.motebu.com\/?p=61","title":{"rendered":"Note To Self:"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Try not to have the ambition to hang art when your nails are still wet.<\/p>\n<p>I just spent the past half hour trying to hang this dang thing:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.motebu.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/IMG_0890.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-62\" title=\"IMG_0890\" src=\"http:\/\/www.motebu.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/IMG_0890-300x224.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"224\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.motebu.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/IMG_0890-300x224.jpg 300w, http:\/\/www.motebu.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/IMG_0890-1024x764.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I had just painted my nails my typical summer bright red color when I had a sudden flash of ambition to start hanging all the art and photos that I have been procrastinating about for the past month or so.<\/p>\n<p>This thing took me a while because I had to screw in the little eyes that you string the wire through on the back of the frame. \u00c2\u00a0I was really trying to be careful and mind my wet nails and I have to admit, I did a pretty good job not ruining them too much.<\/p>\n<p>Plus, I work with a bunch of men so they could really give a rats ass what my nails look like. \u00c2\u00a0They wouldn&#8217;t even look closely, I&#8217;m sure.<\/p>\n<p>But I love this piece because it&#8217;s by my husfrenn, Peter. \u00c2\u00a0I &#8220;acquired&#8221; it from Lori and Peter when I was helping them move their stuff out of their storage and out to California. \u00c2\u00a0Ok, they didn&#8217;t really give it to me. \u00c2\u00a0I begged them for it, on the terms that I might return it to them one day.<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t even know the title of it. \u00c2\u00a0All I know is that it&#8217;s a lithograph by Peter and it&#8217;s perfect on my wall.<\/p>\n<p>Yaaaaaay!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Try not to have the ambition to hang art when your nails are still wet.
